While the 8 Year Old wins on value, the 15 shows a more refined, mature side of Islay. A lovely, smooth single malt that balances coastal character with deeper oak influence.

Flavour profile: Gentle waves of maritime smoke, salted caramel, and toasted nuts. Mid-palate reveals honeyed malt, baked apples, and hints of dried apricot, layered with warm spice and polished oak. The finish is long, silky, and softly smoky, leaving behind brine, vanilla, and a touch of citrus oil.

Port Askaig 15 Year Old Islay Single Malt is a limited release made from 30 casks sourced from a distillery on Islay's north coast. Aged for a minimum of 15 years in refill hogshead casks, it offers a characterful whisky with notes of toasted vanilla, honeysuckle, citrusy sea salt, and peated smoke on the nose. The palate features brown sugar, tobacco, and floral lemongrass, finishing with sweet melon and molasses. The higher ABV enhances smoky and earthy aromas, along with citrus and spice, while contributing a rich, oily texture.
