For years afterward it was still possible to find a bottle, and we’ve been lucky enough to taste it. The verdict? It’s excellent, though not quite the flavour revelation its legend suggests. As a collector’s piece, however, it’s essential. Buy two: one to savour, one for the trophy cabinet. Matured exclusively in the finest refill Fino Sherry butts, Solist Fino is a benchmark whisky—historic, rare, and undeniably prestigious.

Although a typical Fino Sherry is bone dry, Kavalan’s Soloist Fino imparts a mild sweetness and a rich aroma of Sherry to the whisky.
