From their rural distillery in the hills above Tauranga in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty, Blue Duck Rare Vodka is distilled a total of seven times producing a silky smooth vodka that has won them number international awards including a Gold Medal at the International Spirits Competition 2022.

Named after the rare and endangered Blue Duck (known as Whio in Maori) that is found only in clean and fast-flowing rivers of the remote mountain regions of New Zealand, NZ$1 from every bottle sold is donated to their charity partner Whio Link, who work tirelessly to help protect the whio’s habitat from pests.
