A whisky that embodies the strength of Raasay’s ancient volcanic mountain, 66 million years in the making. Crafted with the same care and precision, this year’s edition offers even greater depth and richness, matured in signature Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry quarter casks for a distinct and exceptional flavour profile.
TASTING NOTES
Matured from both peated and unpeated spirit, this whisky begins its journey in robust American rye casks before undergoing a second maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks. The result is a complex profile of peppery spice, dried sultanas, and subtle vanilla, finishing with lingering notes of salty chocolate and a delicate touch of aromatic wood smoke.
