Burgundy, Les Hauts de Milly, Rully 1er Cru `Mont Palais` 2022, France

The Rully 1er Cru ‘Mont-Palais’ comes from two parcels in a one-hectare vineyard owned by Hélène’s family, planted on clay and limestone soils. The vines have been farmed organically since 2009. Fermented and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, this is a richly textured wine with aromas of white stone fruits and hints of vanilla. The palate is crisp yet richly concentrated and superbly balanced with a persistent finish, offering incredible value for a 1er Cru Burgundy.

Certified organic. Citrus and apple fruit, ripe and creamy textured. Easy and fresh with decent length.
