The wine is generally described as having aromas of apple, lime, and lime peel, with a touch of smokiness. On the palate, it offers notes of green apple and pear, with subtle hints of almond and a mineral backbone. It is characterized by its steely acidity, bracingly fresh quality, and persistent mineral finish

Much more composed on the nose than the 2023 Lugarara. A little brooding and increasingly deep with aeration. Lots of concentrated peach fruit and lemon-sherbet notes on the finish. A little voluptuous in style, no doubt due to this torrid vintage, but convincingly conveying the Gavi message.
