As the variety names suggests, this has a tell-tale laurel aroma as well as grapefruit and white flowers. Open and scented. Even more so on the palate, the fruit crisp and clean-cut, persistent if straightforward. There's no actual oak flavour but there is a roundness in the mouth and the high acidity is balanced by that. A hint of lemon candy on the finish, even though it's a dry wine.
